Mandelbrot Contest 1

Mandelbrot Contest No. 1 will be on Thursday November 4, 2010 during lunch.

Rooms: 91, 92, 222, 223, 228.

SCU 53rd Mathematics Competition

Santa Clara University's Department of Mathematics is giving its fifty-third mathematics contest at their campus on November 13, 2010 most likely from 9:00 AM to noon. There is no entry fees.  The contest will award six prizes: 2 for the best seniors, 2 for the best juniors, and 2 for the best sophomores/freshmen. A grand prize will be given to the best performance, and an honorable mention list will be released in early 2011. DEADLINE to register is Thursday, October 21, 2010  Please email us or ask Mrs. Rothfuss in room 222 if you are interested.

CAML 1 Reminder

This is just a reminder that the second contest of the year would be the CAML on Tuesday October 19, 2010.

Contests are 50 cents each, or free with the FastPass, which can still be purchased from Mrs. Rothfuss.
